The Weeknd Seemingly Takes Shots At Drake On New Song “Lost In The Fire”
It seems like singer/songwriter The Weeknd is taking aim at fellow musician and old mentor Drake, this as he premieres a new track “Lost In The Fire;” which seemingly includes some dicey lyrics about the “Hotling Bling” rapper.
While collaborating with French producer Gesaffelstein, Abel’s latest dance track seemingly touches on the topic of Drizzy hiding his son.
Additionally, as fans try to decipher if the lyrics directly took aim or are just a mispronunciation of the word “hurt,” Abel appears to sing in the first verse, “And I just want a baby with the right one/’Cause I could never be the one to hide one.”
While Genius’ verified lyrics shows “hide one,” Apple Music’s shows “hurt’ instead. #Socialites, take a listen below and let us know what you think in the comments.
In addition to his lyrics on Drake, the XO singer also touches on his girlfriend Bella Hadid; whom rumors also swirled around regarding she and Drake seeing each other during her and Abel’s year apart.
