Woman Fights For Life After Brain Bleed Is Misdiagnosed For Food Poisoning
A newly married woman has been left in hospital to fight for her life after doctors misdiagnosed a brain bleed for food poisoning.
Rida Fatima says she went to her doctor in Pakistan, complaining of a headache, and was give migraine medication. She returned to the doctor after suffering a headache and vomiting, but she was diagnosed with food poisoning.
However, on September 10 things took a turn for the worse. She visited the hospital where she suddenly collapsed and had a seizure on the floor. She was rushed into surgery for two operations to stop two brain bleeds, that were discovered by a CT scan.
The Mirror reports that Rida is currently in intensive care, but, is showing signs of improvement and has regained movement to the right side of her body, and even opened her eyes.
