Woman Kidnapped In Boston Found Dead In Car Trunk

A young mother from Boston who disappeared last weekend was found dead in the trunk of her kidnapper’s vehicle.

According to CBS Local Boston, Jassy Correia was last seen alive Sunday morning after leaving Venu nightclub after celebrating her 23rd birthday with friends. She left with 32-year-old Louis Coleman III and was spotted entering his vehicle shortly after.

Police arrested Coleman Thursday afternoon after a chase in Delaware and found Correia’s body in the trunk of Coleman’s vehicle. Correia’s family and friends stated that they never met Coleman prior to the young woman’s death. Her family said they knew something was off when she did not pick up her two-year-old daughter from her grandmother’s house last Sunday.

“Sunday, when the grandmother call, she didn’t answer the phone, so everything’s, like, starting to be crazy,”

Providence Police conducted a search through Coleman’s home but did not disclose what was found in his apartment.

“We conducted a search warrant of the apartment here, inside 95 Chestnut, but I cannot talk about the details about what was uncovered. We are treating it as a homicide investigation.”
