A Florida woman who was pulled over during a routine traffic stop decided to pull an alligator out of her pants.
Fox News reports 25-year-old Ariel Machan-Le Quire of Punta Gorda was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle when she was pulled over by police around 3:30 a.m. Monday. The driver, Michael Clemens, 22, told officers that he and Le Quire were collecting frogs and snakes from the overpass.
A deputy asked the pair if he could search the vehicle to make sure they did not “collect any wildlife they were not supposed to have.” After the deputy finished searching the vehicle, Le Quire proceeded to pull a small alligator from her pants and placed it on the floor of the truck. She also collected 41 small turtles.
The discovery promoted officers to contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. There was no information if Clemens and Le Quire were charged or arrested for collecting the animals.
