Louisiana police are searching for a woman who allegedly ran over her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend after seeing the couple together. She fled the scene shortly afterward.
According to KLFY, the incident occurred early Saturday morning at the Crestview Apartment complex in Opelousas. Police Chief Martin McClendon said in a statement that the victim was returning home with a male friend after a night out when 28-year-old Lakeisha Rideau spotted the couple together. Rideau allegedly rammed her vehicle into the victim then fled the scene.

The woman was transported to a local hospital after sustaining fractures in her tibia and fibula and scarring on her right leg. Doctors say the woman may never walk the same again due to the extent of her injuries.
Opelousas police reported that Rideau is wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder and was last seen driving a brown/tan Nissan Altima.
