YG Cited For Reckless Driving After Standoff With Cops
While YG made his way to a performance at hotspot 1OAK early Sunday morning (June 23), the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials cited him for reckless driving after a brief standoff with the cops.
Additionally, police swarmed the rapper around 1:45AM, listing their reason on his speed and weaving in and out of lanes on the Sunset Strip. They claimed he became “upset and uncooperative and used profanities toward the deputies.”
After handcuffing him for allegedly “riling up the crowd,” officials administered a sobriety test, determining he wasn’t under the influence, released him, then cited him for reckless driving.
