Florida rap newcomer YNW Melly, real name Jamell Maurice Demons, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder; this confirmed by authorities Wednesday (Feb. 13).
Additionally, this follows the “Murder On My Mind” rapper turning himself into Miramar Police for the fatal shootings of friends and fellow YNW members Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas, Jr. in 2018.
Also, TCPalm.com reports that 19-year-old Melly acted as the shooter, alongside a second suspect, Cortlen Henry.
Furthermore, in an Instagram post about his late friends, Melly wrote, “A couple months ago I lost my two brothers by violence and now the system want (sic) to find justice. Unfortunately, a lot of rumors and lies are being said but no worries god is with me and my brother (Henry).”
