Meghan Markle Signs Deal With Disney Days After Stepping Down From Royal Family

Meghan Markle has reportedly signed a deal with Disney almost a week after she and Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

According to E! News, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle signed a deal for an unspecified project with hopes that the Disney company will provide a donation to an elephant charity. Apparently, the rumored partnership is to help the organization Elephants Without Borders and the voiceover deal was signed before the public reaction of their stepping down from royal duties.

The couple also had a pre-existing relationship with Disney after the company sent them a watercolor Winnie the Pooh animation to celebrate their son Archie’s birth. The couple also attended the world premiere for Disney’s Lion King remake in July 2019.
